LIZ DELLAPORTAS
B EC (MONASH), CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT
Liz started Aspire Accounting Professionals in 2000, after an early career working for State Bank Victoria and National Australia Bank. Her desire to “actually help people” led her to take up positions in two public accounting firms on the Mornington Peninsula before leaping out on her own at the same time the GST was implemented in Australia. She loves seeing new businesses get started and watching established businesses reward their owners beyond turning a profit.
Having grown up on the Mornington Peninsula, Liz has loved raising her family here together with her musician/photographer husband. She loves to read, literally anything, and has been known to lead worship at her local Salvation Army church. Browsing antiques stores, watching great movies or series, dreaming about a return trip to Europe and watching her children spread their wings. Or simply enjoying the wonderful picturesque location she feels privileged to live and work in.
“Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.”

SALLY BEDFORD
RECEPTION / OFFICE MANAGER
Sally has extensive bookkeeping and ASIC reporting experience and ensure that our clients records are maintained accurately. Her career has seen her work with several significant Peninsula accounting firms, with a ten year sidestep into financial planning. This perspective helps us keep in mind that as business advisors, we need to consider more than historical figures.
Her passions beyond work are her garden, her grown up family and taking care of her friends. Sally is truly a great example of a ”best friend”.
Sally’s caring nature and positive outlook represent the core of Aspire Accounting Professionals philosophy. We are so proud to have her as our first point of contact at reception, and to keep us on task as office manager.
“Be the reason someone smiles today.”

JO COLLES
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT, CPA
Jo started her accounting journey in Public Accounting over 30 years ago, while completing her degree and CPA program. She then worked for a number of years in the non-profit education sector at the Australian Institute of Management and then in a large practice in the City before purchasing an accommodation/hospitality business on the Mornington Peninsula. Working day to day in this industry has given her a great perspective on running your own small business. Jo returned to Public Accounting in 2014 and has gained extensive experience in the SMSF sector. She commenced work with us here in Dromana in 2022.
Jo is married with 2 children and loves living near the ocean beach. In her spare time she enjoys playing tennis and pilates, walking her spoodle Pickles and sampling some great Mornington Peninsula wine and produce.
